Gary R. Claybaugh,
Director of Operations; Designated Broker
S.L. Bade & Associates is proud to announce Gary R. Claybaugh as director of Operations and designated Broker for the firm. Claybaugh brings his expertise to SL Bade effective immediately.
Claybaugh’s more than 30 years of experience in real estate acquisition and development includes expertise in land planning, entitlement, environmental compliance, project management and governmental processing of both commercial and residential properties. “In essence, I feel that Gary’s comprehensive background completes our ability to offer clients every service they may need to start – and finish – a real estate purchase,” said Bade. “He will enable us to expand into areas of real estate consulting and development that we have been interested in pursuing for quite some time.”
Claybaugh was instrumental in the expansion and steady growth of Landmark Engineering, Inc., a full-service civil engineering company based in Phoenix. Claybaugh was a partner and co-owner, serving as senior vice president, managing the Land Planning division for more than 12 years. His division worked with developers of master-planned communities and subdivisions in their pursuit of zoning, engineering-based site design, preliminary platting and development services, environmental compliance and annexation. “Essentially, we coordinated all facets in the development of each project,” he said.
While orchestrating the sale of Landmark Engineering, Claybaugh was pursuing a private venture – Midiron Development Group, LLC – an entitlement and development firm of his own. Midiron opened in 2005 and is a one-stop shop for land planning design, due diligence and project management for commercial and residential ventures. In 2006, the sale of Landmark Engineering was complete and the firm evolved into V3 Companies of AZ, Ltd. Through it all, Claybaugh served clients of V3 and established rapport and reputation to continually build the client base of Midiron Development Group.
Claybaugh’s experience has culminated in the development of more than 37,000 lots in numerous subdivisions and master-planned communities throughout the state, specifically in Pima, Maricopa, Pinal and Mohave counties. “Gary’s client contacts, business relationships, ethics and knowledge of the overall real estate development process is an essential asset to the growth of our company,” said Bade.
