Bade's newest member, Gary Claybaugh volunteers for WelcomeBackVeterans.org and Iparticipate.org.
Both of these groups are very near to his heart due to his, and his family's long military history. Many of his friends have sons and daughters in the miliary and he feels strongly about joining organizations that focus on supporting them.
Gary is also finding his niche in the various local and state-wide transportation planning committees. His concern for the future of the valley's transportation needs leads him to investigate joining committees that focus on planning. He is currently seeking a position on relevant committees and focus groups.
"I believe that everyone should give of themselves to someone or to something in the community. My “cause” is Eve’s Place, a safe house for abused women and children. I work at Eve’s Treasures (located at 107th & Peoria Ave.) with the hope that my contribution will make a difference for those at Eve’s Place. The women and children of Eve’s Place truly do benefit from the sales that happen at Eve’s Treasures. If you have the time to volunteer, please call the corporate office of Eve’s Place in Surprise, AZ. I’m sure you will find the work as fulfilling as I do."
